Exactly how would you navigate the fallout in the times we live in? Getting busted with recruiting violations is one thing. Let’s not pretend no one else is doing it. Prostitutes is harder to explain away, but not impossible I suppose. Now throw in some sexual misconduct allegations in which he stuck his nose in and you start losing a lot of people because it’s just a bridge too far. Has nothing to do with Bible thumpin and everything to do with putting a guy with a serious lack of judgement in a position to be the public face of your university.

It’s not that Freeze turned down Auburn. It’s believed Auburn rescinded their offer after all the blowback from certain boosters and people within the fanbase. Also the report that he sent DMs harassing an alleged sexual assault victim that was suing Liberty probably didn’t help his cause

He stuck his nose in a girl on Twitter ripping his current AD McCaw, the suit she brought was settled two months before by Liberty U out of court. She continued to defame University employees after she got paid. The investigation was unrelated to the AD. All he said was basically you don’t know him like I do he is a good leader. That was two months after she had settled, there were like 7 other women that remain Jane Doe’s. I am ashamed at the simp AU people that just run with shite from a Twitter attention whore. She had already settled out of court 2month prior to his DM. She continued to rip the Admins after she got paid and Freeze stood up for his boss who had zero involvment in the case yet she kept ripping him online. Social media is a fricking cesspool of idiots that just repeat the same story with zero context til someone is cancelled.

I agree with you. We at Auburn, have some Holier than Thou motherfrickers who have never made a mistake. You'd think Freeze was auditioning for associate pastor or vacation bible school leader, not the HC of a major D1 football program.

His words were that he was “the most Christlike” AD in the business. Remember, it’s the same AD who was fired from Baylor for the rapey culture at a school whose leader and figurehead was forced out for watching his wife do the naughty with a Miami pool boy. Liberty is scum.
