After they can Sun Belt Billy?

He inherited a mess. So did Kelly but Kelly has experience with big programs. He gets at least 1 or 2 more years.

Billy gets to 2024 unless next year is a non bowl eligible disaster. If it's another sub 8 win season though, he enters 24 on a hot seat

Napier will get two more years. He inherited almost an entire roster from the former coach, versus getting a complete roster rebuild. Getting kids to buy in to a new culture takes time.

BK inherited a worse situation than sunbelt billy and
look what a real coach did so far.

Florida needs to approach the Napier situation very similar to how Clemson did with Dabo. UF needs a complete roster flip and it starts this year with probably 35-40 new additions between recruiting/portal. Billy and staff are recruiting well.

Don't be such a homer that you'll actually compare Kelly and Napier.
We all have to walk before we run.

Napier is a good coach and the NIL is cooking at UF. Florida has improved in his year in my opinion. I think the future is bright for Napier at UF.

Reread my post carefully…

LSU fans better worry about BK because this season was peculiar. The west wasn't as good as the east. Time will tell but careers aren't made off of one season. Just ask Coach O.

9-10 wins this season was unheard of. What he's done in his first season with how he's had to piece the team together, regardless of how strong the west is, should worry the rest of the league.
And for us LSU fans who's had to endure Les and O for the previous 17 seasons, this isn't the same. At all

You always should worry about your own house before speaking on someone else's house. And, the way things change in college football one season doesn't necessarily mean you'll improve from here on out.
LSU fans say they didn't even interview Napier. So, why all the Napier posts everytime Florida loses? LSU fans should focus on UGA, right?

You’re such a troll. You make all fan bases hate on Georgia.

What fans say has zero to do with what goes on with the AD and team.

That would be the LSU AD saying that.

Did you not see this board during the coaching search? Like 50% of the posts were pumping Napier. And if you were skeptical of hiring a coach from the sunbelt you were screamed at. Naturally, people like reminding others that it looks like they were right to be skeptical.

Yea, but does that mean nobody can comment on any team other than Georgia until the SECCG?

Then why were many Tiger fans questioning Kelly's hiring of Polian, Denbrock, and House earlier this season?
Took someime for the players to buy in and trust the system. It's the same with Napier and Florida.

Because tiger fans, and college football fans in general, are mostly comprised of dumbasses who don’t really understand what they’re watching.

Right or wrong Napier is being compared to Kelly. Florida has had the season that was expected - and was expected for LSU.
What Kelly has done is amazing. But it is knee jerk to say because Napier didn’t do what Kelly did he’s failed or will fail.
Napier is developing his culture and recruiting very well. Last year at this time he was coaching at ULL. I’ll admit UF has not been impressive from a discipline and scheme standpoint. But he’ll be given an opportunity to get his players in, system established, and show if he can win big.
What will be interesting to me is if Napier will at some point reach outside and hire a top play caller and hand over play calling. I haven’t been terribly impressed with his play calling. He tends to go away from what’s working and is stubborn. Something to watch.
It’s rare to see a turnaround the like of what Kelly has done. LSU is very fortunate to have gotten Kelly.

Says this:

Then follows up with this:

All in a thread about UF’s coach.

At least Sunbelt Billy beat Texas A&M.
