DJ Chester an Auburn flip candidate as well?

From Auburn's On3:
quote:
Reed isn’t the only LSU commitment for whom the Tigers are making waves. AU is very much a threat to flip four-star offensive lineman D.J. Chester.
Chester, from Eagle’s Landing in Conyers, Ga., committed to LSU three weeks ago. AU, however, hasn’t given up. If anything, the Tigers have ramped up their recruitment of the top IOL target.
Chester is listening and reciprocating the interest. He returned to AU last weekend for another unofficial visit and is someone to closely monitor. As with Reed, On To Victory is big here.

Any kid choosing Auburn over LSU right now I say good riddance. Enjoy being mediocre

How the hell is Auburn making waves with any LSU commitment?

Seems like they’re taking the A$M route

Actually it's worse because they have no coach to speak of and there's less than a month before the early signing period.

Cadillac promising money would be my guess. We will see what happens when he doesn’t get the HC job.

Perhaps this is just a case of writers attempting to drum up interest in the content they put out? I doubt very seriously Auburn fans want to hear everything is damn terrible right now guys, even if one kid answered a call from the coaches I would pimp that like it’s a potential flip. I mean technically anything greater than 0% is a chance.
I know the LSU writers would do that or at least get fed complete wrong information, so it could be that as well.

Their collective is massive right now. They’re gonna start throwing it around to flip lots of players who live close but are committed elsewhere. They have like less than 10 commitments right now.

“On to Victory” is probably the name of their collective that they’re saying is playing a big part

We'll know soon enough, him announcing his flip to Auburn could happen tomorrow.

I think it’s true that Auburn is making big promises and the guys are listening. The fact they currently have no coach and are coming off a dumpster fire season will give BK some ammo to fight back with though.

Yep everyone is lining up to play for…
Nobody. They don’t have a fricking coach.

Where you hearing that?

Lmao they didn’t even land Lane, somehow these recruits are possibly flipping toward Auburn? Big Bo (Georgia commit, now possible LSU lean), Chester, Reed. I am curious as to see if this is simply LSU or Alabama, Texas, and others?
I’ll say this, should Austin, Reed, Chester, and Big Bo hit Oregon and Auburn, respectively, good luck going forward with your development. Literally have the Linemen/Tight End whisper leading LSU to an SEC Championship and possible playoff berth in YEAR ONE, not to mention Steeples, Cain, and House, whom are putting in immense work. Let those who want to follow a few extra thousand in NIL rather than long term development and possible millions down the line, go. This could be clickbait, but I’m sure there’s some smoke. Kelly, Cain, Steeples, and the LSU staff deserve immense credit for what they’ve done, keep or lose these gentlemen, that’s absolutely their loss. I’m glad there are dudes like Brown, Sampson, Heard, Hurley, Markway, and others going forward whom are truly ALL IN. LSU will be getting a few surprise flips, more elite commitments, and high end transfers in the coming weeks and months, so best of luck to whomever decides to depart the train. Just don’t come back when your trip to your destination gets bumpy. These guys already seen the A&M disaster, you should’ve learned from that lesson, so I give those from the “all time” class a break, but should these dudes do the same? Learn from history.

Well they need to look at A&M as a cautionary tale.

The smart ones will, glad Perkins saw through the nonsense early on and he’s getting appropriately rewarded with his talents being properly groomed. Follow the development, not simply the money.
