Was everyone aware LSU colors were almost not purple and gold?

Thank you Tulane - for taking the green.

I like the purple and gold.

Not everyone. Just like not everyone seems to realize that our athletic colors aren’t actually purple and gold. But I imagine a good number who post on this site do.

Bet you didn’t know that it was originally Blue and White before the Mardi Gras color story

Our colors, initially, were not P & G.

I think an alternate uni with green mixed in would be dope. Not like a whole green jersey or green pants or anything that drastic. maybe just an added green stripe with the purple and gold on the sleeve.

I hear you. But I’d rather see one little pop of green stripe than those natural gold helmets again.

I’ve always thought the basketball team should add some green to their uniforms around Mardi Gras.
