I expect Nuss is a very talented QB that has all of the tools to play at the highest level.

Before his 1st start at LSU, they showed him on the sidelines inhaling smelling salts for that extra adrenaline. That seemed odd to me given I had never noticed a player do this and he looked way too amped up to start the game.

People often talk intangibles when discussing the QB position. I believe there are some aspects that come natural and others can be learned. Off topic but wanted to mention as I’ve wondered this about him.

It'll have to be spectacular 2 out of 3 or 4 final games (I think if LSU does not win the SECCG and make the CFP, Daniels returns), and the others at least decent. Also, they have to be great passing games, not just win with his legs.

Just my opinion, but I think he already has it in his head that he is returning so I think anything short of a second-round grade has him coming back.

There is less than a 5% JD is not back next year. He isn’t NFL draft ready unless his next 4 games match what Burrow did and showed in his last 4 as a Tiger and then maybe not.
