Mourning the sad loss of a good man.
How ironic to have survived a career in police work to then be murdered while working a supposedly safer job helping people beside the road.

I’m all for allowing them to be armed. But let’s face it, the criminal has the initiative. It’s just an awful situation that no one- let alone a public servant like this- should have to endure.
The best thing that can be done is swift, brutal, and definitive justice as was served here. But it needs to happen way more frequently

Just to reiterate, I’m all for these guys ( and everyone, regardless) being allowed to arm themselves. But if some pscho attacks you with a screwdriver at noon on Sunday, I’m skeptical that the outcome will be favorable.
