If you guys liked Sword/Shield or Arceus you'd be fine with this.
The graphics are very much in line with Sun/Moon Sword/Shield, with the distance drawing issues of Arceus. Things may get visually glitchy here and there but the game isn't crashing all the time like Sword/Shield did to me. I haven't had it crash once, even when the grass gym's quest bogged my frame rate down to a slide show.
A lot of the concepts are like Sword/Shield - fast travel works the same, there are raid nodes where you can do a 4 man raid or "solo" it and they'll auto-fill the other 3 spots with NPCs. The whole map is like one big wild area where you can just sort of wander and do whatever, pick up items catch wild Pokemon. The Pokemon are visible in the world to be engaged.

Would you say Arceus is better than Scarlet/Violet? We haven't played Arceus yet. Looks like it's 10 bucks cheaper through Amazon as well.

I've almost played through to the end game and I can now say that it's crashed once or twice, but it's otherwise been playable.
It does look like hot garbage though
What I can't get is how often I've seen Pokemon that have spawned inside a wall. I can almost forgive the weird way people walk in the distance in a town or the bizarre shadows, but it kind of breaks my immersion when half a Pokemon is stuck in a cliff face trying to claw its way out to get to me.
Also, what's with the lag in the Pokemon boxes? The boxes worked fine in BD/SP but I have to sit and wait every time I go into a box for all of the sprites to load, it shouldn't do that.
