Don’t cry for Salt. He did this to himself. He failed every kid on that HC team and I have lost complete respect for him as a man. He went on a weeks long tirade just dogging the kids leading up to the St. Paul’s game. Then after they lost that game he went on another rant about how worthless they all were before he dismissed them for the season.

It was something he could get away with 20 years ago but not in today’s world.

HC is a private all boys school that hs as their damn motto "boys to men"

You telling me HC fired the coach because he was mean to the kids? Because he got in their faces and rode them?

If that's true... that means HC has become a woke liberal crybaby school.

The new headmaster is a damn colonel who was a trustee at West Point. How does a military man get upset about Salt if that's what he did?

If what you are saying is right... holy hell HC has lost their way.

Oh im sorry that a Coach held kids responsible for their actions...I forgot in todays millenial society..kids are the authority not the adults!

Which is why todays generation is full of pansies that expect to be coddled rather than molded into real men who can overcome adversity

20 years ago Salt was with the good guys and me and my classmates would have listened to that rant… and had he stayed he would have had the same principal and same AD for those 20…

Not that I blame him for leaving after Katrina… no one knew what they’d come back to and he has had a hall of fame career.
