Yesterday Chris Lowe basically said the same thing on The Next Round with Jim Dunaway and Ryan Brown. He was hearing AUmhas 10X the NIL piggy bank as OM, also at Cohens presser he said he was going to make sure we were more aggressive with NIL in the future. Sounds like Cohen knew what the proper bait was.

Cohen knew exactly what bait to use to lure LK. AU's NIL has a campaign to raise $30MM in 3 yrs and I've heard folks say they got that in pledges the minute Harsin was canned.

They are on pace to have spent a quarter of a billion on football alone in a 3 yr span. That includes the new football facility, NIL & paying buyouts to 2 coaching staff's, Kiffin at $11MM/yr and $7MM/yr for his staff.

A quarter of a billion on football is damn impressive I don't care who you are.

That’s a lot of money to keep losing to Brian Kelly

I like Kiffin as an offensive coach...but giving him a blank check to go and buy guys sounds like a recipe for a chaotic locker room.

but hey if it puts a dent in the Bama/UGA recruiting machines, I'm all for it.

This year's $10MM goal was met in a little over a month from the time OTV announced the goal/membership pricing. I'm not sure if the $30MM has been made yet, but you're correct that it surged again the moment Harsin was fired. I heard a number of just over $3MM in 48 hours. If the $30MM goal hasn't been met, I'm sure it's closing in on it.
