Will I vote for trump if he is the republican candidate? Yes.

Will I vote for him in the primary? Not if he keeps attacking his own team.

He needs to change his tune back to America first. Right now all I am hearing is Trump first.

So by your logic who is fit to run for president except for Trump?

Is he the only option for you?

He was underestimated in 2016 and Hillary was a tone deaf, awful campaigner as she’s always been.

Since then he’s been the biggest gift the dems could’ve hoped for. A borderline lame duck president who won due to no good alternatives, and then loses all momentum and inflation goes through the roof…. Still has the best midterms in what, 40 years?

So you would rather see Kamala Harris in the seat than Ron Desantis as long as President Trump gets your vote?

Truly not being a dick, just curious at this point.

Over 70% of the country thinks the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Biden has an approval rating at 37%

All stats show that Republicans should have had landslide victories but we ran a bunch of dogshit candidates and the independent/moderates only voted at 48% republican. It's unprecedented.

It's so very clearly due to abortion and trump.

It should be noted that Carter only lost 15 house seats in 1978. And the dems held 292 seats going in. Yes, they had 292 seats in the house.

Not all that comparable to today, but very surprising.

That was it ??
So people in Ohio are pro MAGA and Arizona are soy filled princesses.
I don't understand bobert is a crazy lady and yet she's going to win.
The reality is the house was a win not 228 but 221 will work and the senate was supposed to be 49-51 republicans or 50-50 even. So if Walker wins the Republicans ar where they expected to be.
Huge loses.....
The only real upset is Lake, oz was never the favorite And a questionable candidate. So Trump fricked up backing oz.
I hope Trump and DeSantis kiss and make up. If you believe the media and democrats won't try to smear and diminish DeSantis then your are insane.
Trump was a great president and a fighter he did a wonderful job, but he is polarizing.

Spineless, dishonest, stale, poorly educated chaff that the Republican party needs to be rid of. You are a great example of that.

Laughable. There's nothing well reasoned, nuanced, or even relevant with establishment Republicans. Failure to evolve past tired, unoriginal, poorly supported talking points is essentially the playground of conservatives that haven't contributed much in the last 20+ years. Do-nothing Bush-era sycophants.

It will be interesting to see whether those posters stick around and keep this place as less of an echo chamber, or whether they will disappear again.

Hopefully they, and you, will crawl back to their caves. They usually do as their shtick gets tiresome quickly, only a few dedicated trolls seem to pop back up every few days to drive-by post.

And the GOP has been soft as shite in bending to the dems the past couple years as well.

Gun bill
Infrastructure bill
Inflation bill

They are not fighting the dems on anything, so why would the voters think they'll actually improve anything?

Add it all together and you get last Tuesday.

It's not just one thing.

And that 2016 "win" was perhaps the biggest fluke in political history.

Was able to go up against Hillary, the worst candidate in political history. And even then, he lost the popular vote and managed to squeak by in Wisconsin, PA, and Michigan by about 100K votes total. The chances of that happening are as tiny as your average Trumpists' penis.

And then going forward -

2018 - Clobbered in the midterms
2020 - Lost to Demented Joe
2022 - Complete repudiation of MAGA

One of Trump's main arguments for 2024 vs any other candidate is that he was inevitable anyway. But he's shown he's a loser and the media is going to reinforce that he's a loser over and over again.

Trump is done.

No, I say again no, Trump is not the only option, however as I was specifically saying, the level to which many are asserting that 1) Desantis over/better than Trump as Republican nominee is a foregone conclusion, sure thing, and then further that 2) Desantis over whoever the Democrat candidate could be is also a sure thing……the level of certainty as to those specific assertions (and conveniently how those assertions are used in insulting Trump and Trump supporters for their lowly thinking), that’s what I see as such a blatantly obvious problem.

I think you mistyped your point but I think I get the gist. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding.

My answer is, yessir. So will millions of others. I’m done. Ovah. I’m not voting for a Chamber of Commerce choad.

I don’t regret my vote for Trump at all in ‘16. Irony is if he had just logged off Twitter after the ‘16 election he would’ve won re-election easily in 2020 and then J6 never happens.

Once they released Covid the election was over

There are basically 3 choices.
A. Donald Trump
B. Democrat
C. RINO cuck

I can only speak for myself but my choice is A all day.

Exactly.

I can remember back to the W days and some people complaining that he didn't fight with the media whenever they pushed some untruth about him.

Was the right move seeing as he won two terms.

Trump doesn't understand that by responding to every single slight, he lends credence to them. While also coming across as an insecure a-hole.
