A Peaceful National Divorce

What are your thoughts on this? I think we have reached the tipping point.
1. Half of the country does not trust the election system.
2. The country is split between Relativistic Secular Marxist and another group who believes in the free basic Judeo Christian worldview.
3. How can those two groups be citizens of the same country? They can't....
I believe Texas will eventually become its own country and then others will start to join. Hopefully it will not lead to a shooting war. If Texas were to succeed I would move there and start my own business. I would even join the military. We would need a founding document very similar to the constitution but add in things that would prevent the national rot like mandated patriot education.

We need a divorce but nothing about it would be peaceful…
It also will not happen because too many in this country are fat, dumb, and happy in their current state…

In their minds they’ve got us by the balls with this voting setup. And they’re right. There is no way they will turn loose of territory peacefully.

State economies are too tied to federal spending. It'll never happen, sadly.

A breakup will not come by armed secession. We tried that, with poor results. It will come, if it does, by gradual degrees, by inadvertence, by quietly ignoring the central government, by incremental defiance. This has begun.

so you think American soldiers will fire on their cousins and relatives
and people just like them for simply wanting their constitutional rights?

Biden’s armed services will fire on American patriots. There is no doubt.
We are ruled by evil people. It’s not even close.

I think we will see a coalition of southern states start to form very soon. Pretty mush SEC territory, excluding a few areas such as metropolitan Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, and a few others. It will be up to us to address the issue of metropolitan areas and the filth that lives there.
I don’t see any way that FedGov doesn’t use force to prevent such a movement from happening. I see it happening by ignoring the mandates handed down by Supreme Leader Biden. Once we tell him to GF himself a few times and we block his DOJ from arresting our leader De Santis, it will be go time.

Impossible. We only view it on the surface level. Establishment views it as a massive loss of money and resources.
If Texas becomes its own country, our CIA would immediately start arming woke groups in Texas... pushing those groups to overthrow the Texas government, and installing a woke puppet government.
Just saying. Impossible for a peaceful divorce. It's also impossible for a forced divorce.

And Op I wish there was a way to broker this deal. A joint national defense would be necessary but all of the other currently shared costs would make it so messy. The use of the word divorce makes it messy too, perhaps another level between nation and state but that would likely just make it more complicated
The rot you speak of is always driven by one thing : public dollars pushing an agenda, a politically motivated agenda. Case and point - the left offers cash to those that don’t work. In the long run it will only lead to consolidation of power, because someone has to pay for the free stuff, while the ever increasing number of takers will vote for the left. Public education/universities, government jobs all spend public dollars drawing people to the left. Where do we go wrong with all of this? Too much spending, it all has always come down to spending.
Yes I think we are at a tipping point. But there is one thing we have not tried - not paying income taxes. The truth is most taxpayers could actually get along politically. We truly hold the cards, and have been paying more into the system than we get out. They have used our money to garner votes against our policies. A coordinated widespread effort would be difficult to retaliate against and would surely send the message that this is our money and you work for us.
The interesting part about this discussion is that in retrospect, the civil war was a failure. I think it should be apparent now that the north and south (or at least their oligarchs) were separated by more than opinions on slavery. We are still divided mostly along those same lines today, with most slave ancestors living in the south and certainly no longer slaves.

Has it ever happened in the history of the world?

Income taxes are only a ploy for Democrats to keep honest working people oppressed. FedGov doesn’t need money, they print more as needed. It’s all digital anyway.

Sort of.
Ghandi let Pakistan leave.
The Brits offered Scotland the opportunity, but it turned out they were only kidding.

Never happen. Yanks like their smartphones and Amazon too much. Things would have to get worse (a lot worse) for divorce to even be considered.

It will come with economic collapse.

I think it will be in the next 20 years. There simply isn’t a large pool of new “old school” republicans to toe the establishment line. Once this lizard group dies off you’ll see a populism revolt.
The only way it happens sooner is a full on crash of the USD, if we are removed from petrodollar status this would expedite process.
The south has the ability to be energy and food independent. We would change some government safety nets to trim the fat

About where I've been too.

The new coalition will need to stop govt cheese day one, and it will push many out to states that will keep the leeches leeching. The weed smokers pushing legalization will need to be dealt with too, because they will bring it all down eventually.
This new coalition will need to enforce what we complain about, and not be worried the optics. That's my biggest concern.
My war concern would be more at the southern border than anything as the cartels and Chyna will need to be fought.
