smaller Plane was above the bigger plane and may have not seen him below him . Smaller plan started to turn into a bank and basically dove right into the bigger plane below. RIP.

Looks like the 63 was banking and at that angle there’s no way to see anything underneath and there are no fancy electronics to warn of a collision like modern aircraft.
One of the pilots probably errored on what altitude they should be at as that maneuver is pretty common at air shows with the bomber flying a steady with the smaller fighters banking above.

Because it’s banking. To see the bomber, the pilot of the smaller plane would have to be able to see through the floor of the cockpit. From the ground we can see it clearly. But from the cockpit of the smaller plane, he can’t see the bomber. Also, the pilot of the bomber couldn’t see the smaller plane coming.
This is just a terrible accident.
