The players don’t actually keep all that money in bitcoin. They’re just paid to take it in bitcoin for advertising. I thought that was pretty obvious to anybody with a brain.

And unless he sold all that crypto that tanked, it very well could go much higher than it was before in the future. And I say that because the internet is undefeated sometimes with its ability to influence crypto.

His effective rate is much lower. Also,
If he gets paid weekly the value of the bitcoin when he receives it will be the taxable income for that portion.
