Sorry I'm not putting Trump among legendary figures in history, but yeah, the overwhelming majority of politicians, kings, authority figures of all sorts are just people and undeserving of fealty or hero status, yes.

Was widely regarded by conservatives as the greatest president of their lifetimes just a few short years ago. Appointed actually conservatives to the Supreme Court. Appointed hundreds of conservative judges at a federal level. Brokered a Middle East peace deal. Stock market at all time highs. Took it to mainstream media. Was the kind of refreshing voice that didn’t go by the status quo that Republicans had been clamoring for for years.
