Just got out of it and loved it. Great dark comedy/tragedy. Don’t know if it will be a movie everyone loves, but if you enjoy the director’s other works, I think you’ll really enjoy it.

It’s a great In Bruges reunion.

If it is anything similar to In Bruges, then we're in for a treat.

Haven’t seen it yet but overall Brendan Gleeson is such an underrated actor

This quote kept making me chuckle as I was watching the movie. Some very similar feels to In Bruges, which is one of my favorite movies. Wife and I were cracking up through the movie just pretending this was an alternate ending to In Bruges (obviously this takes place int he 20's). We went into in knowing as little as we possibly could, made sure not to watch any trailers or anything, so as the dynamic between the two started unfolding, we were just in stitches because of it.
Definitely going to be one I need a re-watch of too. There seems to be some good background stuff going on that I may have missed.

Just got out. This movie was not my cup of tea. When all realism is thrown out the window when it’s a set in real life movie, I just couldn’t ever get into it. Tar is the far superior movie in my opinion

Saw it yesterday. As a critic said to me, "It's an Irish film; take it for what it's worth". Set in the early 1900s, so that might make it a bit more understandable/palatable, though I enjoyed it a bit. Doesn't look like they spent more than a couple of million on it, so it's sparse in setting.

I was meh about it. It had moments, some comedy. Strange central plot that is strangely simple without giving it away.
Glad I saw it overall though. Be careful what you feed your donkey!

Saw it with my sister and nephew Saturday and we all liked it. Not sure if it was more than like though. I couldn't figure out if I was supposed to laugh as much as I did as it is very deadpan and dark at times.
The last 30 minutes felt like a different movie in ton all together though.
