I am a big strong guy and strong at heart but I actually get a weak feeling when I hear our fans booing anyone. Opposing teams get more shook with our positive cheers and our negative boos. (Tiger Bait or LSU) Instead of booing silence works much better when it comes to our own players mistakes.

That sounds like a valid excuse for the interceptions, the the guy must be exhausted from all that sex.

Send the coach a letter. Express yourself with class by signing your name and a return address. If he wants your advice, he then has the option of asking you for it.

Leave the players out of this, it's the COACHES DECISIONS to recruit them, coach them, or play them.

If you are a fan of LSU, then support them, not try to embarrass them, and then try to rationalize that "they should be able to take it". It's enough pressure to be playing in front of 90,000+, who are counting on you to make THEM feel good about themselves. TIGER UP PEOPLE!!!

Yea, and it was the COACHES DECISION to say J-Jefferson would play last night, it was the COACHES DECISION to keep J-Lee in after he kept overthrowing players, it was the COACHES DECISION to keep J-Lee in when we were ahead 28-3 and Jefferson could use the experience, and it was the COACHES DECISION to still keep Lee in after he threw another touchdown pass to make the game 28-10. Lee wasn't getting boo'ed people. Miles was getting boo'ed

Not to mention our options are:
A inexperienced average at best RS freshman
A average at best transfer who is hurt
A true freshman who Coach Miles would like to RS.

COACHES DECISION

If the coaches believe that Lee is our best at that position and needs the extra work to learn and prepare to try to defeat the No1 team in the country, that should be good enough. Trust the coaches or hire someone else.

I'm one of those, you can't boo those who aren't getting paid, if you are a good fan of your team. Coach Miles has been quoted saying that "there's some frustration with the fact that [he] expected him to come of age quicker." But what can you do, I think we all see that right now Lee's not the answer, but frankly I don't think we have an answer at QB on that team right now. The pick6s are horrible and such but what are our other options? JJ, a true freshman and Hatch, who can't throw very far.
So this business of immediately starting JJ chants after Lee throws an incomplete pass is stupid. YOU are hurting our offense by getting louder than you were getting for the opposing team's offense. So the next time you go to boo the guy and/or start chanting for the other guy realize that you are not helping any at all.

Lee had 3 good passes? He has a pick 6, a near interception early in the game, and he constantly throw the ball up in the middle of the field while jumping in the air. For fricks sake, stop making the stupid mistakes. Throw it the frick away to the sidelines instead of a fly ball to center field.

Booing just makes the person doing it feel better. Of course, they have every right to do it but if you think you're helping the team, helping recruiting, etc., well, then you're beyond help.

Exactly, I saw several times a receiver trying to tell the crowd to simmer down. So, I'm just gonna venture a guess that a couple of those "overthrows" were miscues/wrong timing thanks to people not hearing the exact right route, who knows. Besides I saw several receivers drop passes, our problem is a lot of little problems, simply put.

Then write your constructive advice to the staff in time to beat BAMA, cuz Lee will be the one to do it if it gets done. If it doesn't, it means that we as a TEAM were not good enough. We are not the first team to struggle with young players. The Heisman Trophy winner and some of the best skill players in the country lost when youth replaced veterans.

Reading the replies, it's easy to pick out the losers who would boo their own player/team.

Were the rest of us FANS disappointed in some of his plays...hell yeah. But that's not a reason to boo your own player.

Seriously, if you can't support your team...and that means ALL the players...then don't go to the game. There are plenty of true fans who will support the team more than willing to take your tickets.

I pretty sure: 1) Colt McCoy was booed. 2) Lee is mentally tough enough to take it. That's what you non-athletic couch potatoes don't get. These athletes have TALENT, and are NOT mentally weak. You think they are like you (who obviousley would shrink and crumble if someone booed you). I think he is smart enough to realize that he made some mistakes that would cause people to be unhappy. He'll be OK, will you????

Right. And a dog can take kicks to the ribs too, so it must be okay. Jesus Christ.
