Missed holding calls are subjective and happen every play. Talking about that would be bitching about the refs
We are talking about reviewed plays with clear evidence. One which you say you have enough evidence to OVERTURN (fumble) and another where you say you don’t have enough evidence to overturn.
That’s where the inconsistency lies.
If you are consistent and say there have to be overwhelming evidence to overturn then the fumble should stand as well as the pass interference. If you go with a lesser standard of evidence then the fumble should be reversed as well as the tip.
When you consider the inconsistency in standard of evidence the bias is clear.

They need to move the SEC office out of Alabama its beyond sad that bama keeps getting away with obvious calls bias. Did anyone also see the pass play where the bama Wr was stopped a half yard away from the 1st down marker and the line judge had already marked the ball 2 yards past the firstdown marker?

Also on Alabama’s touchdown in regulation Perkins was being held as he was trying to tackle Bryce Young. And they showed the replay you can clearly see it

There was also a complete BS holding call on Jenkins the negated a huge Goodwin run in the first half

Horrible calls.

Not to mention numerous overzealous spots that favored bama. One or two were reviewed and changed
It’s hard to say they were anything but incompetent. LSU won and Lord knows the refs could’ve screwed us if they’d chosen to so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and just assume they suck at their jobs

#’s 2 and 3 were good calls.
Wow! I just realized what “targeting” call you are referring to. That was also an excellent call. Daniels waited too long to slide, and the Bama guy was already into his motion when Daniels slid. I’ve seen that called more often than not, but it would have been a terrible call.
The officials were great last night, and there are only two kinds of people who don’t think so, Bama losers and LSU losers.

Don’t forget the blatant non holding call on Perkins on the Young scramble and long TD throw.

Yeah, Wingo’s finger pretty clearly moves. It would have been a tough call on Bama late in the game, but the rule is the rule. If you’re going to stop thaw game and review it, at least get the call correct.

Dont' forget early in the game Henry Too Too I believe it was, was called for roughing the passer but it should have been targeting when the top of his helmet smacked under Daniels facemask...
Perkins does that he is called for targeting and tossed...

Enough is enough. Those POS refs need to be fired and banned for life.

I don't believe that the ball was tipped....but, yes, some of the officiating was spotty, at times....

I expected nothing less. That was one reason why Kelly went for two.

You can easily make the case the fumble is LSU’s ball regardless of the rule. LSU has the ball on the ground with two hands, ie. in possession, and the out of bounds bama player reaches in knocking the ball free

1 and 2 need to be sent to the SEC office and LSU needs to let it be known that they sent them in.
1. The bama player launched and still got a piece of Daniels. It doesn’t matter if he knocked him out or not. We’ve been over this 1 million times and by the rule book that was targeting.
2. The LSU player had possession of the ball. That call is on par with the Patrick Peterson call.
3. It looked like his finger bent back a little but the ball trajectory didn’t change at all. Don’t think you could overturn whatever the call was on the field one way or another.

There was also a major hold on Gaye during Bryce’s scramble and TD toss in the 4Q

quote:
. The non targeting call where the players blatantly launches at Daniels after he gave him self up. The only reason he didn’t hit him fully is because Daniels dodged it. Those are the plays you want to call as targeting and should not have been picked up. Absolute garbage. If the ply was reverse on Young it would have been called.
2. The out of bounds touching non fumble recover. What kinda BS is that… the lsu player had 2 hands on the ball. The out of bounds player then knocked it from his hand.
calling the league over things that were called exactly as the rule book and officials mechanics indicate is wasted time and energy.
you might want to read the rule book
