Is Alex Bregman the greatest MLB player to ever come out of LSU?

I feel like I’m forgetting someone obvious. Only other one close I can think of is Albert Belle. Aaron Nola’s in his prime right now having a good run. There’s been a lot of good ones like DJ LeMahieu, Ben McDonald, Todd Walker, Brad Hawpe but I don’t think they measure up. I gotta be forgetting someone major.

Bergman’s glove sets him apart from Bell. But Bell was a blast to watch in the batters box.

Alvin Dark played 14 years, managed 11 years and won a world series as both a player and manager. He lost three prime years due to military service, otherwise he would probably be in the HoF. Bregman may surpass him but right now I'd say Dark has had the more significant career.

I love Bregman like no other. But DJ LeMahieu now has 4 gold gloves and holds both NL and AL batting titles in 12 seasons.
Hard to say Bregman is a better big leaguer than DJ at this early stage of his career. I think Bregman certainly is on track to be the greatest big leaguer out of LSU, and likely will be able to claim that title before too long.

If you’re judging based on WS appearances and wins Chad Ogea is up there too

I'd take Belle and DJ both 100/100 times over bregman

Hawpe was fun to watch during the gorilla ball days with those juiced bats.

DJ LeMahieu
Still being incredibly underrated. Bregman is on pace to be the best but right now DJ holds that title.
He is the only player in MLB history to win a batting title in both leagues.

Albert Belle. The best stance. He looked like he was either going to beat ur arse or get a hit. Awesome
