Eh, they got a lot of pressure. But they held up very well.

Oline is the main reason why LSU has been whipped so many times by Bama.

But not tonight.

Two true freshman tackles and this is the best LSU Oline I can remember.

LSU destroyed them upfront last year, Max just blew it.

Tonight was great. And no doubt, Bama has routinely outperformed us at the LOS. But your memory is short.

In the 2008 game, LSU held Bama to 138 yards rushing, while LSU rushed for over 200 yards. Scott rushed for 92 yards, while KWilliams rushed for 88.

And in 2010, LSU rushed for 225, while holding Bama to 102.

Yes, they are outliers - but that doesn’t mean they didn’t happen.

That’s not true. We whipped them up front in 2019. Our defensive front was fairly even with their offensive line, and our offensive line dominated Bama. When Bama got pressure it was off the corner with an extra man, and Burrow and Clyde chewed them up.
