This whole thread confirmed what I already knew

LSU has a shite ton of front running, fair weathered fans

Because there are a group of people that want to watch one of their favorite teams play with a championship on the line? The hell kind of logic is that

That’s what I’m thinking as well. I’ve seen LSU beat Alabama before, and I’ve also seen us get the shite beat out of us by them, when we went into the game thinking we’d win. As a lifelong Astros fan, I feel like I have to prioritize the World Series. I’ve only seen us win one, and it’ll be even better to watch us win a second one. I should probably enjoy this run we’re on, because I never imagined the Astros would be this good one day.

I understand it’s the World Series but it’s only game 5 with neither team having an opportunity to win the series. It would be different if it were game 6 or 7. If you got LSU tickets you go to that game.

Eta: oh shite, game 5 is tonight. Haha
I plan on watching both at a casino, if I had LSU tickets I would go to the game

Saturday’s game is game 6, and there will be a game played that night. Someone will have the opportunity to win the series that night.

Don’t worry fellas. I’m sure Bama/LSU will be over by the time the World Series game starts.

Watch both at the local watering hole in the Houston area. Pretty simple.

Hope the Astros are down 3-2

That way you won’t miss them winning the World Series.

If they extend it you can watch game 7

Biggest issue here is Rob Gayfred extending the World Series deep into November now. I miss when it actually ended in October.

Good luck not having anyone around you mention the score

Or LSU putting it on the scores banner in the stadium which they’ve done before

Going to be a bad day for LSU fans

Why? Because this will be the last time Nick Saban coaches on Tiger Stadium? Not that big of a deal.

I'll be at the game casually checking the Astros game on my phone and have it recorded when I get back.
