It's not so much what they did to Wade it was the timing. They (Woodward in collusion with the NCAA) screwed over the kids during tournament time.

you mean begin to make us a consistent program and postseason presence like none of his predecessors could do?

we thought Woody's relationship with Emmert would grant us favortism, instead I think Woody handed Mark the pound of flesh they wanted to show the NCAA still has a sliver of control. If not for that relationship, we probably tell them to frick off and fight the fight like basically every school associated with this has done.

I think there was more under the hood that was going on if you get what I mean.

I believe that Wade was the sacrifice for the potential football issues they were dangling out there.

But I really don't know so...

At least we appear to have a really good replacement for Wade.

Maybe but the others didn't have football programs involved also.
