I can’t see him as an analyst for more than a year or two.

He’s old. Would be surprised if he wants to start over somewhere.

Yeah I can see him wanting to ride out this Special Assistant to the Head Coach gravy gig for as long as Sark stays in UT’s good graces. I feel like he’s smart enough to recognize the signs early and jump ship when and if things start to turn in Austin.

He's only like a year and a half older than Brian Kelly.

He also resigned from TCU mid-season instead of accepting their forced retirement/farewell tour offer. I could be wrong, but that seems like a guy who believes he still has something left in the tank for the right job.

He’s a brilliant defensive mind. Can he recruit?

Things are about to turn at Texas. They may finish 6-6 this season. If they lose to Kstate this weekend the wheels may come off.

Sark was a bad hire and would need a 9+ win season next year to keep his job.

There are no more good HCs to get Texas back to the glory days.

What?! Lance Leipold leaving? Who wants him at this time of his career? He might not end up being that good after a hot start. He needs more time to build the program. If he does improve next year maybe, he might get call to a better program.
