He's actually one of my favorite actors. Nobody did old B-movie horror like Vincent Price.

He doesn't have shite on Paul Bearer

Yeah, pretty much the master. Ironic that he was very much a fun loving guy who aside from his vocal talent was not anything close to spooky, macabre or whatever adjective.

I used to love watching his old films on TCM. Every Halloween they would have a classic horror movie marathon. You were guaranteed a few Vincent Price films in there.

i loved his Dr phibes movies as a kid, it wasnt the same rewatching them as an adult, but for its time, he had a great run as the master of macabre

Iron Maiden wanted Price to do the intro for Number of the Beast but he wanted $25k so they went with some other dude.

Two of his better films aren't horror at all. In Laura he's one of the suspects in a whodunit murder mystery. In His Kind Of Woman he's Robert Mitchum's comic relief sidekick in a battle with mobsters.

and they were wrong, he was worth every penny of that
micheal jackson understood this when he paid him to do the voice over for his thriller album

Fun fact: he was a Mayflower descendant and his grandfather invented baking powder.

He was a gourmand and loved traveling. I have a cookbook he and his wife cultivated with menus and recipes from their meals all over the world.

If you just go with voices, Rod Serling's voice was pretty creepy, as well as Bela Lugosi.
