Well I’m here. But I’m sitting in the truck. There’s lightning everywhere and it’s pouring. Plus it’s 10 minutes till sunrise and you can’t see a damn thing.

Finally was able to get out of the truck and into the stand. One more batch of rain coming but should be good the rest of the day.

In between Homer and Haynesville. Sitting in a box with the old .270. Listening and watching the rain fall. Looking at the feeder 180 yards out. Hoping someone pulls the trigger need to put my dog on a good 1 to track.

Since I'll be in a tree, I'll head out around 11:00am or so to be set up by 12:00-12:30 and hunt the rest of the day. I haven't seen deer the last couple times I've been out but I'm hoping today is the day.
