Nathaniel Hackett’s job “could be on the line” depending on the result of the Broncos-Jaguars game this Sunday

Dude's 3 years in and has shown nothing spectacular thus far.
Sure, the offense likely plays a big role in him being a dud, but they have 0 chance of flipping him for a 1st, or even a 3rd.

So a guy who’s daddy was a coach may be in trouble barley halfway they is first year but NFL hiring is all about hiring the best purely on merit I thought? Can’t imagine Bieniemy or Leftwich would be worse

Been reading this a few weeks. Rip the bandaid off.

quote:Rumors out there that they’re trying to trade Dalton Risner, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler and Bradley Chubb…or at least taking calls for them.
Seems like a Sean Payton spot but they have no draft capital
I can’t see them beating Jacksonville, thus the firing and player trades happening afterwards.

how is Elway's arse not on the line? He continues to whiff on coaches and QBs

goes to show how good petey is with qb's.
wilson was really good under petey, really shitty in denver.
geno smith is garbage, some how, under petey, he's an above average qb.

Russell Wilson was damned good in college at both NC State and Wisconsin before becoming a damned good QB in Seattle.
Then Nathaniel Hackett happened… I’m more inclined to believe that he is to blame.
I’m curious the direction that will be taken next.

my exact thoughts about Payton in New a Orleans. This is unacceptable!

He needed to be fired after week 1

knew he couldnt Hackett
What makes it truly hysterical is that when his father was the OC for Marty Schottenheimer and the Chiefs, Paul “Couldn’t” Hackett was far from an offensive dread naught. A young sportswriter for the KC Star came up with that moniker, despite much chagrin from the Chiefs, his name was Jason Whitlock.

Hackett wasn't very good with the Jets either
Posted on 10/27/22 at 8:16 am to RLDSC FAN
Thats pretty dumb. If the result of 1 game is the dtermining factor you might as well fire him now.

Russ wasn't that good last year and has been on the decline since he "started cooking". He's also getting older and losing his mobility.

We were waiting for you to show up with your whining about black coaches bullshite in the Todd Bowles thread. How did you miss that one?

He’s not a good coach, but he’s also not responsible for Wilson going blind.

Russell Wilson was fine last year, and that was with his hand/finger injury. He still posted 25/6 and had a rating of 103.
The more glaring issue there is the amount of injuries. Finger, lat and now hamstring.
