Jay is coming on tomorrow. If y’all have some questions for him, fire away.

What is the timeline on Noot? Was there an injury?

Who is the freshman most likely to start day 1?

What's the plan/timeline for updates to the box?

Is there a particular arm you see as the possible closer?

How is Wes liking Floyd's progress with offspeed pitches?

Hey Hunt, I was only there last Friday, to get a glimpse of Jay's scoring system in the scrimmage. My question would be, how do you use that internally? Is it to decide who plays which position next time, what the batting order will be?

ETA: Ell came prepared.

How is Coleman's rehab progressing and could he maybe contribute late in conference and/or post season play or is his timeline set for after the season is complete?

What is his take on Milazzo's approach at the plate and his offensive results so far this fall and is he 100% recovered from his injury yet?

What is his opinion on how the catching staff has handled the live arms and higher pitch speeds this fall and does he plan on using different players for certain pitchers due to their receiving skills/experience?

What is Fontenot's status with the team and will he throw this fall?

Does he think that Beloso will be able to make an impact at DH this coming season and who are his DH preferences when Skenes pitches and also lefty/righty matchups?

Ell already asked but what potential power arms he and Wes prefer at the end of the bullpen rather than starting.

I think you came to the right place for questions Hunt.

Couple other people haven't hit on.

1. Is a big focus in these scrimmages for players and coaches putting an emphasis on working on weaknesses. You see some of the pitchers with high BB numbers. This may be due to them working on secondary pitches and trying to find confidence in them.

2. Guidry has not thrown off the mound this fall. Is the plan still to work him as a 2 way player or will he be focusing strictly on defense and hitting? May have something to do with his back injury he had at the end of his high school career?

3. We see Hurd being worked in slowly. How are they feeling about his performances and how has he felt after throwing the last few weekends off the mound for the first time in a while.
