Alignment is key towards the possible future of Denver Harris and LSU.

I think Harris might pursue it. His recruitment was a Texas/Texas A&M battle if I'm not mistaken.

Harris needs a controlled environment to succeed which I don't think he's getting at A&M or Texas with Sarkisian. The culture at A&M seems especially bad at the moment.

Maybe look for Harris to reach out to LSU before Kelly or any coach would.

The downfall of this A&M class is not NIL per se, its about guys who are taking NIL deals that would have gone to other schools if the other NIL deals matched.

I know A&M fans are asking why Georgia and Bama don't have their issues, but it's about players still buying in to the program regardless of NIL. Bama and Georgia players still want to be at Bama.

Does Shemar Stewart and Nolen, Harris, Matthews, etc. Still go to A&M if Ohio St./Bama/Georgia match the money?

How about the 2 Georgia guys that spurned Georgia for A&M. Do they still end up at A&M if Georgia matches? The answer for me is a resounding 'no'.

Nothing wrong with NIL, but the players still have to WANT to be there and be a part of the program.

If Harris reaches out to LSU it's a good sign he wants to be at LSU and isn't just looking for the highest bidder. Kelly obviously knows this as well.

As a counter example to these A&M guys, Harold Perkins wanted to be at LSU and by all reports took less NIL to be at LSU over A&M and you can see what a guy buying in vs guys just there for a check looks like.

The guys who get to the next level have to buy in.

Yeah it always felt like LSU was running third until the end it became A&M/LSU and then the "reason" he chose A&M was because of Corey Raymond leaving for Florida.

Jordy was talking about it this morning on his show for the first 30 minutes. If Tac has anything to do with it Denver will reach out to LSU.

Nick Saban isn't our coach and Alabama isn't our program. Kelly isn't playing the criminal conduct game. So what I said stands. Character and position of need. As for Denver Harris, sure, if he is a guy Kelly thinks fits the program, bring him on. He's ridiculously talented.

so what would you do if you were 18 not playing but have for example NIL money ($60k) team loosing. Again at the age of 18...to call the kid a cancer is ridiculous. he has to grow up like we all have at that age. The kid is god he needs a better situation and culture that A&M does not have. why wouldn't you take him top CB in the portal this summer ???

Yep. There is a reason Kelly is running the program and iPodking is trolling an internet message board.

I’ll trust Kelly’s judgement.

Let's see...
Most of the day to day work with him will come from the other players and S&C/Nutrition, right?
Coming back on defense you got Maason, both Mehki's, Major, PERK/Welch (friends of his?), Jacoby, Sage, DD, and Tolan to name a few - barring any transfers.
You put Harris on Wingo's or Maason's Accountability Team and you should know pretty quick whether he's capable of Alignment/Purposeful Activity.

How weird is it that Perkins was the talk of the troubled one but Harris has had two known incidents so far
How cool would it be to find out Perkins got the Academic Award again?

Alignment is a 1 year process. If he gets in early December his rehabilitation will be almost complete by mid season 2023.
Wait, you basing that time frame on Saban/Ricks?

BTW: Loved your work in "Spaceballs".

Maybe this their way of trying to get out. Teenagers do crazy and stupid things just to get kicked out or suspended from a team. Instead of just sitting down with the coach and telling him that you want out of the program they go off and stupid things.

He may be a cancer to himself, but if wants to come here and change I'd be fine with it. I trust that Kelly and the rest of the leaders on the team would see him to the door long before he became a locker room cancer.

The other day we were posting in a I Hate them thread;
I emphatically said : TEXAS A&M
I could not feel better for my choice, hate it for the young guys, but for Jimbo & Ta&m burn it down like a microwave from the inside out!
