The food and beer at Mountains Walking Brewing is really really good. MAP Brewing is also solid.

I don't have any pure restaurant recs as usually hitting the food and drink spots

Tory McPhail runs 3 restaurants downtown;

I had a great meal at the bar at Montana Ale Works last week. Highly recommend. Incredible beer selection and really good western menu.

And if you’ve got some time to kill, drive out to the Old Saloon in Paradise Valley. Stunningly beautiful drive and cool bar with decent food; but it could be a treacherous drive back over the pass to Bozeman and with so many damn deer at night.

Cool place that gets some decent bands to show up for being in just about the middle of nowhere. And Awesome views.

Montana Ale Works

Mackenzie River Pizza

LaPa Grill & Soup Shack (I personally haven't been to this one, but the burrito portion used to be called La Parilla, and it was my absolute favorite lunch spot for years).

The Chop House in Livingston is owned by some BR baws.

Montana ale Works is good.

There's a walk up taco truck called El Rodeo that is cheap and good.

Jam for breakfast, Wild Crumb is a great bakery, Roost is good fried chicken. Had lunch at Revelry it was solid. The place I wanted to go but couldn't get into was Blackbird.
