Can probably never listen to another Tom Petty song for the rest of my life. I am baffled as to why they were pushing this so hard but it made me hate Joe Tessitore even more.

same here, Petty wasn't a sports fan at all, certainly not a Gators fan, closest contact he had with UF was a temporary job as a janitor or groundskeeper there when he was a kid, his music sucks for the most part too, at least to me

First, you are simply wrong about Tom Petty. The guy was a flat out genius.
Second, the mute button is your friend. I never watch with audio any more. If I could listen to LSU PxP on radio without the annoying delay, I would do that.
