Nice nostalgic trip down memory lane, but man are they bad. Still worth a watch if you saw it as a kid. You'll find yourself immediately transported back to the 80s. Did not remember Eugene Levy being the antagonist in the second one, and had forgotten about Vincent Schiavelli as Lazarus, The Gravedigger. Also, can't believe my parents let us watch it with the seance etc. They were usually pretty strict about that kind of thing, but not only did they let us watch it--we taped it and re-watched for many Halloweens more.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past. I had forgotten all about this.

Interesting you posted this. I had been searching for these movies for years on google. I’d remember bits and pieces now and again and try finding something but never could. Then recently I came across both of them on YouTube. I was beginning to think it was some sort of fever dream

Gave me nightmares as a kid. He was the original "Boogeyman" to me.

Holy crap Dan Levy looks more like his dad than I ever realized. That picture you posted looks like Dan with a mustache and glasses.

I didn't realize that was his son (never really knew his name). I have never watched Schitts Creek but now I really want to give it a go.

Introduced my 4 year old stepdaughter to Mr. Boogedy last week. She loved it

Think we’ll wait a few years for Bride though

I can’t believe Disney hasn’t put their scarier feature films from the 80s on plus for the Halloween season. I was wanting to watch Something Wicked This Way Comes the day, but it wasn’t to be found. I do have the dvd at my mom’s I guess I can dig up to scratch my itch.
