Jayden Daniels has nearly 150 more pass attempts in his career than Hendon Hooker

What exactly is a coach supposed to improve at this point in Daniels’ career?

You really think Sloan has any say in the offense? It's 80% Kelly 20% Denbrock.

Imagine how bad he’d be without him.

I can only assume that Kelly felt that our staff could develop Daniels into, at the very least, a serviceable passer. It clearly didn't work. I'm sure that Daniels is doing the best job he can. The problem is that he's just not any good and it's obvious that he's got going to get better. The Jayden Daniels experiment needs to end.

This is where you are wrong.

Kelly is a delegator these days.

This is more denbrock's offense

I think Joe Sloan is an extremely competent coach. Not everyone is coachable. The fact that Jayden Daniels has been a starting Power 5 QB for 4 years now and doesn’t seem to have the basics of pre-snap reads down pretty much says it all. If you do anything for 4 years you should improve to some degree.

Daniels just doesn’t have it, and I’m normally a “never say never” guy.

Daniel’s has started for three years he is not going to improve much. He is what he is. Limited processing. And not bret accuracy. Probably below average accuracy.

It looks identical to the last 10 years at Notre Dame and nothing like Cincinnati last year. Unless CBK losses the ego this will be our offense no matter who he hires. Now if he recruits a team like UGA has right now it will work unfortunately it won't work any other way.

I don’t understand why he is unable to throw crossing routes. Has nobody ever taught him to lead the receiver?

It’s a legit question but also he can’t make the QB throw the ball to the open receivers. At some point it’s in his shoulders to make a play and not just on the coaches.
