When will we be a disciplined team? Tackling? Penalties? Drops? Missed assignments? A lot of this is taught not just lack of talent. When will we see this “culture” change.

What is our offensive philosophy? We want a mobile QB but don’t run enough designed runs or RPOs. Too many predictable zone runs up the middle. QB5 doesn’t read defenses well? No RPOs or options. No outside runs. Can’t recognize blitzes or coverages. Hard to believe our WRs can’t get open. Change route combos ! If we don’t throw mid to deep routes. Safeties will never get out of the box, which closes short passing routes and clogs the run. Currently defenses have NO fear of our passing game and load the box.

Certainly not get the team prepared to win. Too many mistakes from a coach paid that much and is signed to be here that long for my liking. It's making me very nervous for what's to come.

I despise this argument.

You can pay a man $100M a year or $10 a year, no one is a miracle worker.

so a football team that tackles well, doesn't get substitution penalties, doesn't miss blocking assignments, tackles well -- that's a miracle? We shouldn't expect to see that this year?

I know, I know -- "rebuild", I get it. So .... how many seasons should we wait to see an LSU team that can substitute players correctly?

The offensive line MUST improve substantially for LSU. It is the key!

We have NO offensive identity. As you said, the offense we're currently running is not suited for a QB like Daniels who can run but can't pass. So, either we need to change the personnel or change the system.

Also I keep hearing “simplify the game plan even more”. O used to say the same thing. Do we have a bunch of dummies or what

Your post is valid. I would like to know why every game we come out of the tunnel looking woefully unprepared which leads to us being down double digits early. That’s a coaching problem, not a talent problem.

So playing fundamentally sound football requires miracles?

We've really lowered the bar of expectations.
