Well their pass defense is putrid...but that doesn't mean we will exploit it

I think CBK will open it up more, now that we are getting to SEC play. Our opponents are preparing for a 1 dimensional team. JD will be dropping biscuits in the basket.

I don't believe Daniels is capable of running a passing offense. Like Max Johnson, He can't see the the Wrs 10-15 yards in front of him, and can't hit the long passes. He has thrown 10 passes downfield in five games.

There appears to be a clear emphasis from the HC on down improve the passing game. Kelly made it a point to say they had to get better throwing the ball. That includes throwing maybe a few more "contested" balls even if it increases the risk of a TO. He also said the play calling would have to be adjusted to facilitate a better passing game. Whether they can execute is yet to be seen. But I fully believe you are going to see changes to the passing approach this week.

Last year going into the Florida game LSU had not been able to run the ball with any great success. I think TDP may have been averaging less than 3.0 ypc and was at the bottom of the league in yards before contact. Nothing about the running game had worked well in 5 games. So what happened? LSU completely changed its approach and TDP set a school record with nearly 300 yards rushing. That approach remained the rest of the season and TDP went from an afterthought to a 1,000 yard rusher and NFL draft pick.

I'm not saying Daniels is going to come out and look like Burrow vs. Oklahoma. But I don't think Kelly is BS-ing when he says they are going to make it a point to adjust the passing approach this week.

Why does everybody think that a passing game will just appear out of this air? Same QB, same OC, same HC. Do you think that a coach can just wave a magic wand and get a great passing game? I can see installing a few new plays, but geez...
