You are now going to start seeing piles of trashbags with rotting garbage piling up. The misery index is way up.

Why not just reallocate those trash bags to your nearest pothole. Over time the pothole will fill up and cars can drive safely again.

Their business stinks, but it's picking up

Everyone knows that one, but who recalls a NO trash collection outfit w/the slogan:

"Satisfaction guaranteed, or twice your garbage back"

I don’t understand the garbage companies argument. There was more trash to pick up, despite the fact the city was locked down and there were no tourists to pick up after?

Residential garbage increased during lock downs/work from home. I’m going to assume it was also difficult to find employees since everyone was getting $850/week to stay unemployed. The city was not paying Metro for the additional tonnage being picked up while still collecting taxes from residents.

I don’t think Metro has the French Quarter contracts.

Any correlation there? Residents, mayors race and party?

Teedy may be able to see the piles of trash from her first class seat in the air.

Couldn't happen to a better company.

Source of a lot of the garbage woes everyone hears about.

Think they lost all their NOLA contracts with the last bids.

That would require her buying a clue aboot anything happening in N.O. She can't be knowing things when she is an international party girl, on the taxpayer's dime.

We understand now that she has to reimburse for flight upgrades. She is still in 5-star hotels, eating Surf and turf, on your nickel. She spends more of your money on limos than the average New Orleanian makes, per annum.

She is too busy partying overseas to know if the pumps work.
