Great games but that season aged me.

Good one but LSU - FL in ‘97 was better imo

Hard to pick a better game, especially because of the crowd energy, and it was a national championship run.
I still remember to roar when the USC score was announced. And Tebow having to change is phone number!

So fricking loud. Definitely a top 3 game for me.

Holy shite, it's been that long? I was at that one in the student section. I think it was the loudest I've ever heard Death Valley.

Was there and still haven't heard Tiger Stadium Louder after the USC score. Amazing game that era of college football was peak. Jacob Hester TYFYS.

Still feel like loudest crowd in person was Bama 2012. Didn't attend 97 UF game. Was at LSU in the 80s so I've seen my fair share of games.

I was at that game and yes was one of the greatest games ever in Tiger Stadium for sure! . But USC vs LSU 1979 was the greatest game I hv personally seen in Tiger Stadium to this day and I hv been to most of what fans feel were the best.

What a night in Tiger Stadium.
07 UF
2012/2014 Bama
Those games for me are as prime of a night as you can ask for in Tiger Stadium as a fan of college football. Fortunately, we were on the right side of this one.

This…’79 USC game is the greatest game played with the number of future HOF and pros players that was on that team and LSU was denied their first victory over a #1 team on a blown call by the refs…no not the face mask that did happen, but never should have happened when the play should have been blown dead when 2 USC lineman false started…

Whoever down voted me clearly was not there in 79!!! That is for sure!

"And Tony Joiner was coming right in his face"
Wait... what?
I was in 612 for that game

1988 Auburn game, baw
I was at this game and it was awesome, but I think the legend of the earthquake play makes people forget the game was slow and, dare I say, boring (at least until that last drive). Outside of the last drive (and specifically the last play), I wouldn’t rank it with the others that have been mentioned.

The single loudest moment in tiger stadium history is the blocked FG to send LSU and Alabama to OT in 2008

Yep. The quiet parts of that game were louder than most loud parts of other games. There was a constant roar throughout the entire game where you had to talk loud to people next to you
