Is the MCU forgetting its target audience?

With past releases like she-hulk, Thor love and thunder, Ms marvel, etc, it’s pretty evident marvel is on a “girl power” kick. Not only is the girl power movement obvious, they are also making most men in these films/shows bumbling idiots or have zero redeeming qualities.
Thor - he’s an absolute moron in the movie
She hulk - name me one strong positive male character. I’ll wait.
For gods sake, take a look at the most recent black panther poster:
4 out of the 5 featured stars are women front and center.
I’d love to know the statistics of the demographics of MCU viewers. I can’t imagine it’s a majority female crowd.
And before you give me the “WhY dO yOu CaRe?” It’s blatantly obvious. Sorry I’m the one who has to point it out. Plus, I’m sick of she hulk reminding me that every man is a piece of shite.
Also, we as human beings tend to be drawn to people similar to us. So, the majority of the viewers would PROBABLY prefer Disney to lay off the man-hating.
I am a nerd and I love everything marvel, but damn Disney is making me think twice.

Dude, Black Panter is an outlier. NOBODY expected it to be the hit it was, and it's main star died suddenly.
There aren't any main male characters left other than M'Baku, who is a stretch as a "main" character.

Non-pieces-of-shite men in She-Hulk:
• Bruce Banner
• Jen's Dad
• Emil Blonsky (and his crew of reformed super-villains)
• Wong
• Pug started as shite and is transitioning into a reformed shite
• Luke the tailor
• Matt Murdock
The majority of the shite guys are the men that she ran through on her dating app binge (which turned out to be a plot point for her trademark trial) and a few villains.

This I would disagree with. I figured correctly that it would be a massive hit.

Chadwick's death kind of put them in a tough spot. I know they wanted to pay their respects to him, but they should have recast the part.

Eh, you're reaching here. Since the pandemic Marvel has released:
Black Widow
Eternals
Spider-Man
Doctor Strange
Thor
One of those is a movie where the lead is a female, another is a group movie, and the other three are led by male heroes.
Black Panther is only a female because of the passing of Chadwick Boseman.
The next two years you have:
Ant-Man
Guardians
The Marvels
Blade
Captain America
Thunderbolts
Deadpool
Fantastic Four
Again, pretty male heavy.

See, i dont get this logic. Chadwick's death was awful no doubt. But wouldn't it be great to pay tribute to him by recasting the role with a strong black male actor?
Would people really be pissed if that happened? I cant see it.

Eh is that tribute to him?

Handled correctly, it could have, and should have, been done.

Why wouldn't it be a tribute? Present it as big shoes to fill, continuing a legacy, etc., etc.

The way they're doing it, building a film around the loss of that person, with turmoil, visual reminders of the loss to Wakanda, showing the journey that leads to someone taking up his mantle, that's a tribute.
Not, "The role of Black Panther will now be played by John David Washington."

Marvel was too quick to state that the role would not be recast after Chadwick's death. They should have quietly moved forward with a casting search and once they had their man take the appropriate time to announce and allow this to digest.

Because it’s clearly just a business decision.
Saying “this guy was great and it will be hard to replace him, anyway here’s Black Panther.” Is absolutely a hollow tribute.

Take a deep breath and just show me on the doll where Kevin Feige hurt you

Chadwick Boseman wasn't an icon to his race. The man wasn't MLK. The hyperbole is a little much.

They could have recast the role without the extended memorial service.

I like JDW, but a poor choice for the role.

Has Hollywood ever deified another actor like this before?
The guy was a fantastic actor, but it’s a little much, IMO.

It wouldn't have been just a business decision. It would be continuing a legacy. Obviously it wouldn't be "anyway, here's blah, blah, blah."
