My little Podunk town is getting high speed. They're coming to install 400mbps on Thursday. School me on a router. We've only used the att supplied one up until now because i didn't see the need in some great router for crappy Internet.

I currently am pushing my internet beyond it's limits I'm sure. Everything lags but it will workish. I'm counting on this faster speed to solve all of that.

17 blink cameras
Nest thermostat
5 Alexa devices
4 xboxes--2 hardwired
1 gaming PC--hardwired
1 smart tv
4 cell phones
3 iPads
1 Network printer
4 school Chromebooks

Help me

Haven’t used any yet but Wi-Fi 6e routers are the latest and greatest. Google just came out with a mesh 6e system I’ll probably upgrade my current google mesh system to that. Haven’t had any issues with my current system but I stream everything being TV etc

Man just get a new mesh system and be done. There's a whole thread on them vs routers etc.

Orbi has been good.

Is 17 cameras a typo?
