Has the Cajun Navy activated to assist with Hurricane Ian relief?

I've searched on facebook but haven't seen anything. Any guidance on how to join the ranks is appreciated. I have some guilt for not stepping up during Hurricane Harvey. I'm a bit of a prepper with a lot of supplies. Just looking to see how I can help.

I don't know that Florida is the right locale for those baws. Water doesn't stand in most places like it does in Louisiana. Once the storm is gone, they drain quicker than in the boot.

You can join the scumbag baw that monetized the volunteer effort for his own gain

Admiral Thibodaux and Captain Boudreaux were seen arguing in the war tent earlier back at base camp. Something about who’s going to give all the press briefings and run the Facebook live streams.

No boots on the ground needed. Please just venmo $2500. It will be put to good use.

Someone representing them was just on Clay and Buck - saying they were in Ft. Meyers

One of them was on Fox News this morning detailing their efforts so far. It was on mute at the gym so I have no clue on the details.

There's about 50 Cajun navy organizations now. Good luck sorting through that spider's nest of scams.

I doubt Florida will have high-water rescue situations. There will probably be a lot of people needing evacuation via heavy trucks, but boats won’t be needed.

From what I'm reading here it looks like this is an opportunity to form the Cajun Infantry since no boats are needed.

Yeah Cajun Navy is for rescue where water might remain high for weeks
Those Florida areas, once the storm surge is over it's not gonna be a flood rescue event
You can criticize Cajun Navy all you want, they would have been a much better option during Katrina than any governmental agency provided.
They've proven that since with recent storms and floods.
They may have some members that prey on those that have lost everything but no different than any other agencies coming in.
And if you are one that donates to the Red Cross, no telling where that money ends up. Because the Red Cross is useless in any emergency response.

My platoon is on alert but has not yet been activated. The F-250s are gassed, bay boats are trailered and bateaus in the bed along with the Yetis.

I'm a big fan of the Cajun Navy, but I have a Cousin in Team Rubicon. LINK
They are kinda the same thing but quite a bit more organized. (I assume.) They deploy all over to help after these kinds of storms or any time mother nature decides to remind us how big we really are.
I recently joined but am not through the onboarding. I got a roll call for deploying to Puerto Rico a few days ago; I'm confident they will also be going to Florida.

The cooking side of it is a money maker if you hook up with FEMA

The United Cajun Navy was on fox earlier. They are the only Cajun navy legally registered to help in Florida. Unfortunately, other Cajun navy’s try to capitalize off them.
That’s all the dude wanted to talk about as he pitched his website and whatever ways to donate bit.

Yess!! Team Rubicon showed up for us after Ida last year. They were amazing! We had so much tree falls and debris and were blocked from leaving our house/yard without going over a lot of branches and such. They helped us so much. We are older with health issues so we really needed the help. They just popped up and we have no clue who sent them.
Tell your cousin that we are big fans of their work. Great guys!!

Load up your boat and head toward flooding.
You’ll find what you’re looking for.
