Nope. He’s not even a single threat qb. But we did make Pimples Nix look like Lamar Jackson so whoTF knows.

This. If we just wrap up we should dominate. He is not a threat throwing from what I saw in the Mizzou game.

Yeah, he’s not on the same planet as Jordan Travis. He can run, but he looked highly inaccurate throwing on the move. Play contain, get him moving around sideline to sideline and hit him every chance you get.

Yes, i can see his legs giving us major problems. However not from a throwing perspective and not frightened by their receivers. When we stop them, we must score and not play around with them. I could easily see a scenario where we stop them several times but don’t turn it into points, and he beats us with his legs. I’ve seen us shut down lamar jackson, and bo nix beat us with his legs and us not scoring.

I believe we will be discipline and harold perkins, and our more agile ends/lb’s will thrive

He was able to have some success against Mizzou’s defense. He’s fast and strong for a QB and has a very strong arm. I think we can contain him because the defense is more disciplined than it was a couple weeks ago. This will be phase 1 of 3 of these kinds of QB’s that we will see the next 3 weeks in a row. Stop the run and don’t let him set his feet to throw.

Bo Pelini and Daronte Jones aren't walking through the LSU doors to coach the defense again.

I’m sure we’ll make him look like a Heisman favorite. We tend to do that to crappy quarterbacks especially when playing Auburn
(see Bo Nix from last year).

From what I saw of that game, Auburn ran the ball well in the first quarter. When Missouri woke up and decided to take the run game away from them, Auburn did virtually nothing the rest of the game.

He also beat Bama in 2019. He would then immediately turn around and suck harder than a Shop Vac after every good game, so what’s your point?

Running QBs are always a challenge, but our sideline-to-sideline speed and tackling has been looking excellent the last few weeks, so that helps a lot.

JHS is just cursed for us. I expect doinks off of uprights and to learn a new penalty I didn't know existed.

Pelini was horrible

Jones is a good coach, he was in a bad situation. The defense actually improved throughout the season in spite of O being checked out

Coach O had a lot to do with the lack of blitzing.
