Grilled Oysters & Abita Amber at Drago’s or Acme Oyster House. Do it.

That seems to be a repeating theme. I see they have multiple locations.

Come visit our Krewe of Ole School tailgate on N. Stadium near the IT building & parking lot. Look for Corn Dog Nation sign.

Go to Parrain’s and/or Chimes.

Probably already mentioned, but if the street is named after a state or a President, don’t go down it. Seriously.

Or just don’t go past the Wienerschnitzel.

Enjoy the game. You won’t meet a stranger and you’ll eat great.

A hot mess, is being kind. You will walk forever seeming like the Stadium is just right there, not unlike any large venue. There will be twice as many LSU fans outside as inside. Just stop by, usually after some good natured Tiger baibing they will be very accomodating. Enjoy

I figured. I looked at LSUSports.net for the lot map, and it looks like you all have a good number of parking lots. I guess those just fill up quickly.

Go to The Chimes restaurant which is on campus. You'll want to get there early to get a rooftop seat. If the game were at 3, I would say to order the spinach artichoke dip with any of their sandwiches, but since it's a morning game you might just want to get a nice breakfast with some mimosas

Once you finish eating and have a nice buzz going, make your way down Dalrymple to Mike the tiger's cage to check that out. You will probably be stopped at a tailgate or two on the way so grab a drink and enjoy yourself.

I cant express to you enough how much I miss The Chimes.

Do all your “cajun” eating Friday night.

Then get on campus by 8am.

Drink, walk, talk shite, then stumble up the ramps to the uppers.

What are some good sports bar recommendations for adults and have a bunch of TVs close by

Zippy's
Parrain's (bar or patio)
Acme Oyster House
Chimes (restaurant side)

All close to campus and won't be swamped with the age group you mentioned. Good food, cold drinks, lots of TVs.

It looks like the UT alumni association is having an event from 8-10 AM at Walk-On’s. I may stop by there the morning of the game.

First time ever at Tiger Stadium on 10/8. Recommendations on food/must-do's?
That's where we are. 642. First row. Probably could have been in 402-404, but we are bringing our full band with us. So, they'll take up a good portion of 404.

By 'first row' you mean Row A? or Bottom Row? If so those are not bad seats....

The LSU ticket rep said these were in our allotment and it’s the “first row” of section 642. Tickets say Row D. From the virtual seating chart, it looks like they are chair backs?
