Sat on the east side for florida at 230 in 2013. 88 degrees 100% humidity. Probably the hottest game I’ve ever been to

The dermatologist lobby must be responsible for this. I just had a skin cancer cut off my nose last week. It’s down right dangerous to be in the sun in South LA right now.

What kills me is that the powers that be talk about climate change, being safe, wearing a mask, staying 6 feet apart, they have the ball girls in the outfield wearing helmets and never mention anything about fan safety in the early fall at football games.

For true safety sake why not a rule that no game can start before 6:30 in Tiger Stadium before October 15th? Of course we all know the “power” doesn’t really care about safety. It’s about money and TV ads. Safety concerns only come up when it’s convenient. It’s like calling someone a racist if you don’t follow “safety” protocols. “What, you don’t care about safety? That’s selfish and irresponsible and by the way racist.”

It really pisses me off that we as the paying fans have almost no control over what we pay dearly for. While I get it that many fans can enjoy the games sitting at home and watching on their 85’s they haven’t paid a dime for the game or contributed anything to the game day experience. Why don’t the PAYING FANS have any say?

And you wonder why the East Side is empty?
