No claim in a decade, still driving the same car, excellent credit score. Everything is going wayyyy the frick up.

My agent called last week and said my vehicle ins was going down 200$ a quarter since I turned 45. Whoop whoop. Then turned around and sold me more home owners which in turn took the 200$ he saved away......bastards!

Shop around every 5 years. There's no benefit in being a loyal customer anymore because they're gonna shaft you regardless

I've had liberty mutual for 25 years. My car insurance has been going up $200 or so a year on average for 3 cars. My most recent renewal was a $500 increase.
I called to complain, lady requoted me and lowered my bill by $1100. Insurance increases are a scam. I had shopped around, but found nothing cheaper before I called her.

Keep us posted, but at least share the name or slogan of the a-hole company. That way we know who not to buy from.

Pretty much what I found. Your broker usually doesn't work near as hard to find you a discount until you threaten to leave.
Can't blame them, probably overloaded with clients.

The problem is that you live in Louisiana. You can thank all those wonderful, high class plaintiffs that are suing insurance companies over fake, soft tissue injuries.
The ghetto lottery is what is causing rates in Louisiana to increase yearly, on what would be considered exorbitant rates already.
