NEW ORLEANS — A 9mm handgun, a stolen car and a crash.
Jaclyn Stubblefield’s world turned upside down in a matter of minutes Friday.
An armed man stole her car right in front of her Walnut Street home, then crashed into one of her neighbors cars just up the street.
Not knowing what was going on, Dr. Nicoloas Vergaras went running after the stolen car.
“I’m running at the car because I thought it was a hit and run and I was trying to get a picture of the license plate,” Vergaras said.
But after the car screeched to a stop, the armed man turned his gun on Vergaras.
“I know he had one second to shoot me and my life would be over,” he said.
Thankfully, not shots were fired and no one was hurt before the armed man ran away.
She’s not alone. Neighbors we spoke with said crime has b come a normal part of their lives and if it keeps getting worse, they might not stay here much longer.

They almost certainly vote Democrat. They voted for this. Reap what you sow.

Ellishughtiger was on the scene and reported that it was an otherwise beautiful warm day at Audubon Park.

Let me guess what the criminal who will 100% get away with it and be empowered to do it again looked like...

No, not thankfully. There should have been shots fired and that POS should be dead in the street.

Why would you need the plates on a stolen car? The victim has that.

I hope that young man left his insurance information before leaving.

Nah, I know the victims. They’re conservative, hard working ppl that love the city. Shitty situation but glad everyone’s ok. Screw the ppl who did this and screw the liberal scum who support the current administration.

I’m guessing he didn’t know it was stolen, just thought it was a Reckless driver. Either way, this is just at typical day in Nola. That “teen” will prob take a violin lesson thru a Teedy program and get any charges dropped ( if he is ever caught. )

That's a nice area too. Walnut backs up against Audubon Park. The criminals have taken over.
We need a vigilante.
