Pet peeve - when someone says field goal for extra point

Was just watching Finebaum (I know, I know). They happened to be talking about the LSU game with FSU. Finebaum had as a guest some bimbo sideline eye candy, and they were talking about the game. She (I don't know her name) talked about how she thought for sure that the game was going overtime and then FSU blocked the "field goal" at the end of the game.
Not a big deal but that's like screeching finger nails on a blackboard for me.
Anyone else this easily annoyed?

Yeah, my mother-in-law says field goal instead of extra point and it is painful to listen to.
She also says, “one and ten” and often cheers when something bad happened because she has no idea what’s going on even though she has watched football for 50 years. She’s a doctor, so she’s not totally stupid except when it comes to football and a couple of other things.
