Having a night, leading the Browns in tackles and just got a sack. That 2019 team just looks better and better as all these guys excel in the NFL.

2019 was just nuts for Tiger talent. Just got a sack

The Browns have been really high in him since pre-season. He's finally healthy and is coming into his own.

Having Phillips, Devin White, Chaisson, Queen, and Divinity in the same LB room is just insane to think about.

Wow that pass break up was impressive

And Delpit is second in tackles tonight for the Browns.

I remember him choosing LSU over Oklahoma and Oklahoma was pissed.

Our brother Jacob played an amazing game tonight. He's ripped and all over the field. Very happy for him.

I was very high on Delpit going into 2019, and then he had those horrific tackling problems. How has that panned out in the NFL? I don’t watch pro ball much, so I haven’t seen. In 2019 he had a shoulder injury that might have been the reason for his squeamish tackling.

He was injured for most of 2019 but played through it. Finally got healthy before the a CFP games. He had a bad shoulder.

quote:solid tackler - really good in run defense / so so in pass defense. I believe he had deep zone responsibility last week vs the Jets that gave up the 75 yard touchdown with less than 2 minutes to go.
How has that panned out in the NFL?
I don't know if he was responsible for virtually the same defensive breakdown in week one vs. the Panthers.

I really feel like Phillips was one of the unsung heroes on that 2019 defense.
He got overshadowed by two first round picks with Devin White then Patrick Queen. But Phillips quietly led the championship team with 56 solo / 113 total tackles.
Glad to see him having success at the next level.

Divinity
He did not play much but played some in the playoffs. He looked pretty good in the championship game too. Is he on an NFL roster anywhere?
