FIFA 23 is out September 30

And you can play as AFC Richmond with Ted Lasso coaching. I mean I preordered this game back in late July from Best Buy since they're also offering a $10 gift certificate upon pickup. Cannot believe I actually preordered a PS4 game in 2022 but here we are.
Mostly a PC gamer and won't upgrade past my PS4 as far as consoles go, but I currently own FIFA 19 and FIFA 21 on it and I just have to have this as it's the last FIFA and this is a World Cup year (free World Cup update coming later).

Is this game better on a PC than it is a console? I've always had xbox and never got into PC gaming, so I don't know if there is any difference on these types of games.

back in the day i thought it was. because you could get the actual correct uniforms and rosters. And keep upgrading them with patches.

I switched over to PC fulltime back during Covid and it's the only thing I miss when I want to play something like FIFA. Game runs and looks great on PC, but sitting hunched over in front of my monitor just isn't the same vibe.

For the longest time PC just got shitty ports of FIFA, but now that cross play is coming, PC version is superior.
Will ultimate team be cross play too?

Played a game at lunch and thought it was very good. Last played 21 and it was dogshit, every game was a goal fest. This was much better.

I don't play FUT. Never pay money beyond the initial game, and I only paid $60 because I got the PS4 version. 
My friends and I still have IRL FIFA tournaments and playing on old versions of the game sucks. I haven't purchased a FIFA since 21, and this is the last one and in a World Cup year to boot. I don't care if the DLC they release is bare bones it's still the WC. I had been getting every other years game, so on PS4 I own FIFA 19, 21, 23. I probably would've skipped this years if it wasn't the last game and/or a WC year.

Why would you buy packs with money? If you play FUT you are awarded everything by actually playing.
And you just use the cards you don’t want for sbc

Anyone know if the upcoming World Cup update is only temporary in the game or are these things typically permanent? I didn't have FIFA 18 so I don't know for sure, but I read an article on IGN that said it's coming November 9 through January 3, and has different pieces that come out at different times throughout that date range.
I really hope it's not temporary... that wouldn't make sense.
