Weird Bluetooth Interference Between College Dr and Acadian

Something is in the air between College Dr. and Acadian. It's not love - that's for sure. I'm not talking about the smell of the homeless wandering around this area either. I'm talking about some sort of frequency wave covering the space between the areas of College and Acadian going down from Perkins to Bawell that prevents Bluetooth technology from working properly.
At first, I thought there was an issue with my wireless Android Auto so I went through the steps of rebooting my phone, rebooting the car audio system, and updating Android Auto. I sort of just gave up and figured it was an issue on my end that I won't ever figure out. Then, a friend was riding with me through this area and told me that his bluetooth goes out as well at the same exact spot like fricking clockwork. I had some bluetooth headphones in the car so I was like "Okay let's test it on some other kind of device, maybe our cars are just messed up." Sure enough, the bluetooth headphones were not working either although I used them at my house with no issues earlier on in the day. Now I'm curious.. what the hell could be transmitting a signal strong enough to cause interference on bluetooth in this area?
Does anyone have a rational explanation about what is going on here? Anyone else experiencing this or am I going crazy? Any crackpot theories? I can't find anything online about what could cause bluetooth interference on this magnitude.

Do not adjust your television sets. We control the vertical and the horizontal.

Whatever it is, it’s definitely because Mayor SWB and Chief Paul are incompetent dicks who have turned Baton Rouge into Chicago.

So do you think that the DEA building is emitting some sort of signal to spy on residents that is interfering with bluetooth?

They moved a few years ago.

One of these.
If I had to I would guess it is wireless video cameras.

Microwave ovens
Cabling and connectors for cable and satellite service
Poorly shielded power lines in the wall
4 GHz cordless telephones
Wireless RF security video camera
Wireless Wi-Fi speakers
Neighboring Bluetooth device (device in a close apartment/home may connect through walls)
If I had to I would guess it is wireless video cameras.

Bluetooth operates on the 2.4GHz spectrum
So it’s obviously interference from all the ankle bracelets in and around Baton Rouge

Don't know. Just remember the roof being hot as frick with RF energy 20 years ago.
One of the worst rooftops I had ever been on. And it wasn't our equipment.

So might not be them.

Maybe someone on Bawell boosted a truck full of speakers.

FWIW I understand there is a recurgence of Short Wave Band Radio operators nationally in preparation for the coming apocalypse

The revolution will not be televised.
Doesn't the C-P have a big radio transmitter on their property behind the BQuik and Sonic, back side of the railroad tracks?

I regularly get the message "CarPlay has stopped due to Wifi interference". I get it nearly every time I go through that area. Also happens sometimes in New Orleans around the Superdome exit. Same car & phone I've had for 1.5 years and this just started happening in the past 2 months or so.
I thought it must be 5G wireless getting more "turned up" as the FAA loosened up on them. But I know nothing about radio waves.

A responder in this thread said turning 5G off on his phone fixed it; I guess I will try that.
