With eth you have to have shitloads of it to really benefit from pos, so not much benefit for small players. it's kind of a meh proposition.

What do you mean by this? You only need 32 to run your own validator and can stake on platforms with much less.

'only 32' prices a ton of people out, considering not that many have that much $ in crypto altogether let alone eth. and the second part was acknowledged but you wont see the same returns and you could probably easily do better trading other coins

well 5 companies control about 2/3 of eth validators. so its much more centralized, the gov could request companies censor certain apps, they could pass an EO law or regulation that incentivizes or commands it. or those companies could just decide to do it.

Is everyone still arguing about crypto? Its here to stay. Can’t we all just wait for the next halving.

Hmm.

Depends on how you see ETH as an asset.. ~5% APR on a deflationary asset that acts sort of like index for all of the projects built on top of it sounds very lucrative to me. Nothing's guaranteed, but very good chance ETH explodes in value with the next bull run.

You obviously can make better returns elsewhere, but you're much more likely to lose your arse off too.

Depends on how the SEC will view it given it's new pos status...

Maybe. Idk eth staking seems very meh to me and I'll be avoiding it. Just because something is deflationary doesn't make it good. Btc isn't and never will be deflationary and it's king of crypto. Water is wet, everything booms on the bull run

It's good for price long term. Ethereum is the new King and will flip Bitcoin next cycle.

As someone who owns more ETH than most on this board, you could not be more wrong.

ETH will always have rivals. ALWAYS. Bitcoin has NONE. The one true king.
