Yes, the "Aztec Empire" was so advanced. A couple hundred Spaniards with swords showed up and conquered it.

A couple of years ago I was watching a Rawhide rerun and was surprised to learn from it that there are still 1M Aztecs in Mexico speaking the Aztec language

Guess where syphilis in Europe originated?

Columbus' seamen, who first arrived in the Americas in 1492, brought the disease back to Europe following exploration of the Americas.

You don't think the Aztecs returned the favor to the Spaniards?
