I am a 44 year old life long LSU fan and I don't ever remember the team being in this position before where we have a head coach as accomplished as BK rebuilding and leading the program. Even Saban when he took over was not the "Saban" we know today. Given time there is no doubt in my mind that we will be winning National Titles. I think that the AD decision to hire BK was was the best hire by any AD in recent memory. It is gonna take a proven winner and leader to build a program to excel in today's SEC with the likes of Saban,Kirby,Pittman, and Tennesee. I think the program is in great hands and look forward to the journey with the team as a fan. Geaux Tigers!

?? Your standards should be much higher that those teams. They are average now and only better than what they have been in the past.

There's no doubt. What we as fans need to understand is that the man is being asked to restore order to a program and roster that have been terribly mismanaged for the past few years. That's not something that can be done in one offseason, let alone his first offseason with the team. That being said I think it's reasonable to expect improvements to be made and problems to be addressed as the season progresses, which I believe they will.

When did Arky and Tenn pass us? What titles have they won? We play both of them this year and aside from last weekend, I will hold my judgement until they actually beat us this year, which I still feel will be a challenge for them.

Anytime the Tigers take the field we can win. We had a shot at beating Bama last year.

Having said that Tennesee and Arkansas are not in rebuild mode.

I didn't say they passed us. I am talking about the state of each program currently.

Two of these don't fit with the other two.

Saban and Alabama have been dominant for nearly 15 years. Smart and Georgia have been a national contender for the last 4-5 years.

Tennessee and Arkansas are in year two of their every 3-4 year "return to glory" stage. I'm going to hold off a bit on placing them in the big hurdle to overcome category.

What he and his staff have done in this short amount of time to stabilize this program has been remarkable. I will continue to wait patiently as he rebuilds a competitive program. Things could be much, much worse than where we are at this point.

I think he means the second tier programs being closer to the top than the past.

In the past it was always one or two at the top, one or two right behind, then everyone else crap.

Now it looks like there are one or two at the top then 8-10 log jammed right behind that could beat anyone any given week.

Specifically this year, tam om ten uf Uk ark msu being possibly that second tier. Us and aub too.

exactly. Outside of a few good players the roster is pieced together with a bunch of transfers from smaller schools. People picking 10 wins were delusional

I wasn’t sure what to expect game 1, but I would have been more shocked if we came out dominant. The timing of BK coming on board having to build a staff, shore up recruiting class, piece together this team from existing & incoming players, develop an off-season plan, then transition into this football season, all while heavily recruiting 2023?? It’s a ton to manage. I felt like the first 2 games of this season would look drastically different from the last 2 games no matter what. The team will get their stride towards the end, then transition into a more cohesive team. After a full off-season, I think our 2023 team will be ready to compete. If you look at the totality of BK’s career, you can see he doesn’t like to lose. We need to be patient & support these Tigers! Of all the programs in the country, there’s a very small number that can realistically win it all. We are one of them. Get ready
